Students continue to impress me with their growth in writing and articulation of ideas about poetry, specifically how authors use poetic devices as a skillful craft. The poem "My Papa's Waltz" unveiled a great discussion about irony which led to a deeper dig into the meaning of sarcasm - oh my!
