February 2, English 7 Review

Student and Parents,

The purpose of the progress report is to have students identify two assignments of choice to revise. As you are aware, mid-third quarter is Wednesday, February 4^th, and students need to determine if they are satisfied with their current grade, or if they would like to put themselves in a better position as we enter the second half of the nine weeks. If you are satisfied with your current grade, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS ACTIVITY. All students, however, are expected to get one parent’s signature highlighting the two assignments of choice for revision.  (Please note some grades do not have scores due to extended absence caused by illness, hospitalization, funeral, or other extenuating circumstances.)

Students, the following assignments are not available for revision:

Jigsaw Group Participation 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5

Jigsaw Group Presentation

Phrases Assessment

Jigsaw Exit Ticket Quiz

All revised work will be due by Friday, February 6^th, so grade changes will not be reflected in Wednesday’s mid quarter’s grade posting.
