October 8, English 7 Review

Students listened to the audio version for “The Monkey’s Paw”, created personal definitions for vocabulary words using context clues. We had a thorough discussion about plot, characters, and foreshadowing in Section 1. Students also made great connections back to the question they responded to in class about fate vs. free will.

Tomorrow, students will finish listening to section 1, listen to section 2, and work in pairs to complete personal definitions and answer comprehension questions. All of the materials the students are creating will serve as great study guides for the test for "The Monkey's Paw".
